DescriptionKishigo, a Bunzl company, is currently seeking a
Logistics Coordinator for our facility in Fountain Valley, CA. The
Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for providing
administrative support for the distribution and logistics
functions, coordinating the order process and stock transfers. This
position will work to ensure proper timing of delivered goods and
work to keep appropriate levels of stock to meet customer

aptitude.Responsibilities:Daily communication with overseas
factories for order shipping status/scheduleShipment analysis for
cost effective shipping, i.e. LCL, FCL and/or air freightCollect
shipping details from factories to file ISF (Importer Security
Filing) online or through a freight forwarder in a timely manner.
ISF must be filed with U.S. Customs and/or freight forwarder 24
hours prior to container loading at origin.Collect shipping
documents (invoice, packing list, Express Release/Telex Release
bill of lading) from factories after on-board confirmationOpen
import file for each shipment after on-board confirmationImport
logistics and shipment receiptCoordinate pick-up and delivery of
shipments between warehousesReview freight forwarder invoices for
accuracy of chargesMonitor metrics for on-time delivery and
statements to ensure accurate payment of import dutiesGather
overseas vendors invoice for weekly paymentVendor relationship
managementRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor's degree preferredMust possess 2-3 years of office
experienceSupply chain management/logistics experience with
concentration on imports preferredExcellent communication and
customer service skillsOutstanding problem-solving abilitiesMust be
able to multi-task and be detail-orientedPrevious experience with
the Sage 100 ERP system preferredStrong computer skills to include
