Well known company is looking to hire a Data Entry Clerk to work in a very fast pace health care environment Bilingual Spanish is a plus!

RESPONSIBILITIES: Entering data into the system. Updating lists, records, statistics or other data into a computer. Processing incoming mail: Opening and date stamping the mail. Tracking claims receipts. Photocopying, mailing, preparing documents and correspondence. Knowledge of using Managed Health Care system and/or the Medi-Cal Automated Eligibility Verification System (AEVS) a plus. Needs to have good data entry skills but also be able to make intelligent decisions about a vendor database including the ability to search various websites for information.

REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual Spanish is a plus! HS Diploma or Equivalent. College degree a plus! Strong data entry experience in health care environment. 7,000 - 10,000 keystrokes (both 10 key and and alpha numeric) Typing 35 w.p.m. fast learner, good customer service skills, organized and attention to details. Excellent computer skills and strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Word. Knowledge of Access and Visio a plus. Medical Terminology. Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, PPO, HMO a plus.
