Day to Day Responsibilities

• Ascertain automotive problems and services by listening to the HMA customer's description of symptoms, conducting inspections, taking test drives, checking vehicle maintenance records, and examining service schedules.
• Create repair orders and develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor.
• Verify vehicle recalls, service campaigns and warranty part repairs.
• Check progress of repairs throughout the day with Service Technicians; contact customer regarding any changes or promise time; and obtain proper authorization before additional repairs are performed from the Service Manager.
• Schedule service appointments; obtain customer and vehicle data prior to arrival.
• When possible, greet customers in a timely and friendly manner.
• Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Perform MPIs and finalize results in quarter-time to the HMA customer via phone, email, or text.
• Notify the HMA Project Manager of any facility repairs and maintenance.
• Provide assistance with end-of-day paperwork, customer calls and miscellaneous tasks as required by the Service Manager. Other duties may be assigned.
  
  What you bring
  
  • OEM dealership service department work experience (preferred).
  • Ability to speak effectively one on one. Ability to effectively listen and write.
  • Ability to interpret customer needs or concerns to RO.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.
  • DMS proficiency.
  • Must have ability to maintain a professional level of oral and written communication in English.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $30.00 to $35.00 hourly.
