~ The primary purpose of the Senior Manager, Product Performance
& Revenue is to align HMC and HMNA product/profit targets by models
in each product milestones. And, lead HMMA, cost optimization and
each countries' product/price teams to achieve regional profit
~ Analyze each models performances and cost optimization impact
in each markets after launch to maximize profit improve
opportunities within the region.
~ Serve as the Voice of North America product teams and advise
PDO leadership on all product performance matters and manufacturing
plants to meet product planning, sales and profit targets
~ Lead HMNA in each HMC product milestones to maximize profit
and sales potential by having full understanding of HMNA direction
and HMC development capabilities
~ Consolidate US, Canada and Mexico product proposals and cost
optimization activities to have effective communication with HMC
and contribute to develop the most competitive product for NA
~ Align HMNA Performance with HMC Target and develop
countermeasures to minimize any discrepancies.
~ Optimize targets according to each market's competitive
environment, performance and improve plan
~ Monitor monthly Sales, Finance and cost optimization
performances on each markets
~ Coordinate HMC's product and profit related ad hoc requests
with US, Canada and Mexico
~ Support Top Management's decision makings and CCRO for HMMA
model's cost optimization activities
~ Expand PD Office practice to other regional HQs in Hyundai
~ Product development / Price positioning / Sales cost /
Material cost management.
~ Must be a high school graduate
~ Bachelor's degree preferred ~ Master's degree is a plus
~ Minimum 12 years of professional experience in automotive
manufacturer/distributor with direct product responsibilities
(planning, marketing, and/or sales).
~ Minimum seven years of supervisory experience desired.
~ Cross-functional team management experience is required
~ Excel, PowerPoint, Word proficiency.
~ Good organizational and Data mining skills.
~ Effective communication skills.
~ Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
~ Ability to simplify complex issues, develop compelling point
of view, persuasively make case for change leading to action.
~ Outstanding written & verbal presentation skills required for
external and Senior Leadership interactions
~ Strong automotive technology knowledge.
~ Korean as second language is a plus
~Normal office duties
