Assembly Operator IV – Controls Assembly Mason welcomes people

Summary The Assembler Lead is responsible for overseeing a specific
production line. This position functions as a working leader within
a team of employees and is accountable for ensuring that the
overall production schedule is met. As an Assembler III, the lead
holds the highest role on the assembly line, where each employee is
expected to fulfill all requirements for complex tasks. This
position involves assembling various parts made from different
materials to produce items such as switches, transducers,
subassemblies, grips, wheels, control assemblies, and chartholders.
The role may also require strong leadership, team-building skills,
and effective communication abilities. Position Duties Essential
functions of the position include, but are not limited to: Oversees
daily flow of production to achieve customer satisfaction. Trains
and leads the specified line for production requirements.
Requisitions material required meeting production goals. Performs
first article inspection on production parts. Examines items
produced and/or assembled to determine if items meet
specifications. Works with Mfg. Eng. to establish or adjust work
procedures to meet production requirements. Works with Mfg. Eng. to
analyze and resolve production problems. Maintains time and
productions records. Sets-up machines and equipment. Performs
related duties of which the above may be representative. Performs
5S Audits, safety, and hazardous material audits. Interacts with
Quality Control department. Execute Lean process for specified
line. Execute and sustain Kaizen activities. Qualifications
Education & Experience: High school education or general education
degree (GED), or a minimum of five to ten years of assembly
experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Soldering/Welding Blue print and/or schematic reading Finger
dexterity Hand-eye coordination Basic computer skills Strong
leadership skills with the ability to train others. Effective
communication skills in English with the ability to read, speak,
