choice What to Expect The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for
the delivery of medium to large complex projects that are often
cross-organizational initiatives in support of strategic
objectives. This position supports EPMO leadership in implementing
and maintaining project management governance, standards,
methodology and processes. What You Will Do 1. Project Management ·
Lead end to end planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of
complex, cross functional projects in alignment with approved
scope, timeline, and budget. · Develop and maintain comprehensive
project plans, schedules, risk logs, issue logs, and status
reporting. · Partner with business stakeholders to define project
objectives, success criteria, and deliverables. · Identify, assess,
and proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and issues;
escalate appropriately. · Coordinate internal and/or external
resources across multiple functions and teams to ensure effective
execution and accountability. · Identify all interdependencies and
ensure appropriate integration to project plan. · Facilitate
project governance activities, including steering committee updates
and executive communications. · Ensure all projects are managed
within the company's project delivery framework and utilize company
and industry standard project management methodologies and tools. ·
Manage change impacts related to people, process, and technology as
part of the project delivery. 2. Process Improvement · Support
continuous improvement of PMO practices, templates, and processes.
· Partner with business stakeholders and EPMO leaders to identify
and maximize opportunities to improve processes, coordinate efforts
to reduce cost and improve service offerings. Additional
Qualifications/Responsibilities Qualifications What You Will Bring
· Minimum 8 years’ related project and program management
experience leading medium to large-scale complex in a corporate
environment. including at least 3 years in the financial services
industry. · Captive Automotive financial services industries
preferred. · Experience with Lean Methodologies and tool sets
preferred. · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology or
related field; or equivalent work experience. · MBA a plus. ·
Project Management Professional certification (PMP) required. · Six
Sigma Black Belt certification preferred. · Strong project
management expertise managing complex, cross-functional
initiatives. · Proficiency with standard project management tools,
budget software and reporting practices. · Proficiency in Microsoft
Office Suites, including Microsoft Project. · Demonstrated ability
to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. ·
Strong problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills. ·
Ability to identify and resolve/mitigate issues or risks associated
with projects. · Demonstrated skill with change management and
addressing impact related to resources, process and technology. ·
Ability to influence without direct authority and drive
accountability across teams. · Strong relationship management
skills with demonstrated ability to interact and influence peers,
managers and senior leaders · Ability to identify and
resolve/mitigate issues or risks associated with projects. ·
Excellent verbal and written communication to communicate clearly
and effectively with stakeholders at all levels. · Proven ability
to manage vendor relationships and hold them accountable to
deliverables and budgets. · Excellent interpersonal skills to
successfully collaborate, facilitate and negotiate with cross
functional departments. · Exceptional attention to detail and
quality. · Strong orientation toward results coupled with
reputation for integrity, creativity and good judgment · Must have
the ability to challenge, when appropriate, existing practices.
