DescriptionJOB PURPOSEThe Safety, Security, and Employee Relations Sr. HR Business Partner is responsible for administering company- wide safety programs, training, and reinforcing IIPP. Develops corporate safety and health programs and objectives and coordinates safety training programs. This position is required to understand, monitor, and apply any relevant state/Federal regulations regarding HR, Workers' compensation, Safety, Security and Employment best practices. This role will work closely with the Workers' compensation and Employee relations Business Partner to fulfill cross-training needs for backup purposes. Monitors MPA policies and procedures and provides support to PDC and corporate personnel to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. This position requires that incumbent must also exhibit ethical behavior as stewards of the organization. Travel is required.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESAssists with developing Company-wide Safety Training Programs and Standards; Administer Company Safety training, Safety and health Program and reinforce IIPP. Assist with implementation of employee Health and Safety system - 20%Assists with developing Company-wide security programs and Standards; Administer company security training and maintain its policy - 20%Assists with developing annual company security, safety, and health goals and master plan. - 10%Assists with facilitating compliance and regulatory matters such as: Audits, OSHA Reporting and responding to external agencies. -10%Properly handle Workers' compensation cases from beginning to end to minimize costs and risk and ensure prompt return to work status- 20%Learn company's Employee relations process so that this position can back up Employee relations, safety, and workers' compensation - 10%Work with all company locations to develop annual company safety, workers' compensation, employee relations, and security goals as well as drive continuous improvement - 10%KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORSReview and Update written OSHA compliance programs,Track issues developed through the monthly facility inspection process.Monitor and facilitate Division employee drug & alcohol testing (reasonable suspension).Maintain Division accident and injury files.Monitor tracking system for accidents/injuries.Collect and review safety meeting minutes for PDC's andCorporate and provide guidance and supporting as necessary at all locations.Assist with managing Company Safety Rewards Program. Work with PDCs to increase participation.Develop overall effective safety programs.Provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly results and statistics to PDC Mgrs and Sr. managementBenchmark best/most effective safety, security, and employee relations processes/procedures/programs to make MPA betterTraining of facility supervisors in safety, WC, and ER related topics.Work with WC brokers loss control to improve company safety and health programs and policiesParticipate in new product/process reviews, including process hazard analysis, operator training, etc.Supports PDC personnel in selection of appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary.Maintain corporate safety library (Trainings, policies, regulations, reference manuals)Maintain on-going safety/hazard communication program and preparation of reportsAdvises PDC's/Corporate staff of regulatory changes with which the PDC/Corp. must comply. Sufficient advance notice should be provided so that compliance on the effective date of new regulations is ensured.Assist in maintaining and reinforcing company's IIPPAssist in reviewing, updating and monitoring Security programs including security training and its policy. Assist in maintaining on-going security program and preparation of reports. Administer security programs and periodic security audit as necessary. Ensure Agency employees are equally trained and are aware of our company policies and procedures. Handle reporting to Korea HQ as necessary Update and maintain HR Activity report No major errors during the review period. Keep manager informed of any issues on a timely basis. Facilitate corporate training programs, such as OSHA required training, IIPP, Forklift, CPR/ First Aid/ AED and Emergency & Evacuation Plans.Ensure adequate Safety and Security training is being completed for all new employees. Maintain Standard Operating Procedure of Safety, Workers compensation, Security and Employee Relations as requested. Work closely with all company locations to ensure that they are improving areas of opportunity based on Safety/ loss control audits as well as regular safety inspections. Closely work with all other Human Resources department employees as necessary. Be flexible to cross train across other departments in Human Resources as we as be able to complete other job duties as assigned. WORK SCHEDULE/TRAVELWork schedule/hours8:00 am - 5:00 pm TravelOccasional overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelors of Human Resources - RequiredAdditional Education Requirements Bachelors Degree in HR or equivalent; combination of work experience and education will be considered Masters Degree preferred but not required
