Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
occupational therapist position is available, offering the
opportunity to provide essential services in a school setting for
students from kindergarten through 8th grade. This contract role
begins in the second semester and involves covering leaves, with a
K-8th grade caseload and 1-2 days per week dedicated to the
Preschool intake team. The position is based in Oceanside, CA,
providing a dynamic environment to support diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy
services to students in grades K-8 Collaborate with educational
staff, families, and other professionals to create individualized
support plans Participate actively as a member of the Preschool
intake team 1-2 days weekly Manage caseload effectively, ensuring
timely evaluations and interventions Monitor student progress and
adjust therapy plans accordingly Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience working as an occupational therapist within
school settings Familiarity with K-8 student populations and
developmental needs Strong assessment, evaluation, and
documentation skills Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary
teams and communicate effectively with educators and families
Relevant licensure and certifications as required by the state and
school district Location: Oceanside, California This assignment
