Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - 2 years of experience or more - Experience with IR, cath lab, and neuro experience - EP experience is preferred - Travel experience is preferred Description: Unit information includes Cath Lab and IR with 4 suites. Average number of cases per year is 1200. Candidates must hold ACLS, BLS, and ARRT certifications. Call is required every other weekend, starting after the shift on Friday until Monday morning at 7 a.m. Call for weekdays is required 14-15 days within a 4-week period. Holidays may also require call based on staffing needs. Scrub color is provided. The facility utilizes a Cerner electronic medical record system. Common cases include interventional and diagnostic procedures, such as L & R interventional, implants, pacers, central lines, and neuro procedures. Candidates must have familiarity with trauma and STEMI cases. Floating is not expected; orientation consists of 1 shift. Candidates should be prepared for a busy work environment with increasing patient volume in neuro cases. Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled during the 13-week assignment.
