Job Description:
The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting surgeons in
the OR. Operating Room RNs will prep the OR and the patient for
surgery and make certain that all equipment is safe and operating
correctly.ResponsibilitiesOperating Room RN responsibilities
consist of:
Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the
procedure.
Anticipate the needs of the surgeons and give instruments and
supplies to them during procedures.
Collecting and logging any items needed for lab work.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an OR Registered Nurse within
the past two years.
Active RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart
Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
