Job Description:

Cross Country Locums is seeking Urgent Care coverage from Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physicians. Our client is looking for locums partners willing to float amongst their 5+ Urgent Care locations throughout Orange County. They have asked to only present doctors willing to work a minimum of 5-7 shifts a month. The credentialing can be expedited on a 2-3 week timeframe and the shifts are ASAP and on-going once the credentialing clears. Please note that credentialing does include payor applications with the client so that they can bill for services. Typical clinic hours are Monday-Sunday 9a-9p, The client will also accept offered shifts from 9am-6p and 6p-9a. They have an IN clinic coverage need for 5-7 shifts a month but if that commitment is met they will also ahve the option of offering telecare in house from the clinic or at home. Typical patient volume is 3-4 patients per hour and all ages cradle to grave. EMR is EPIC. Experience is preferred but not required. All partner locums are required to attend EPIC training prior to working their first shift. The training is paid, but takes 2 days to get access to the system once training is completed. Active CA license and DEA required. Current BLS/ACLS required. Must be able to do procedures: suturing, casting/splinting, toe nail removal, and lacerations. Local candidates only as client will not cover lodging expenses. The pay rate is $110 an hour and they client will also cover .56 cents on the mile for mileage round trip.
