Purpose
- This position plays a key role in HMNA (Hyundai Motor North
America) Finance and is primarily responsible for managing,
consolidating, and reporting of financial performance of entities
in HMNA and Americas Strategic Region.
- This includes but is not limited to; preparation and review of
financial close, establishment of annual business plan and
mid-/long-term plan, and ad-hoc requests to support the
organization to achieve maximum profit improvement.
- This position is also responsible of management of financial data
and various management reports, which will be utilized in making
well-informed business decisions.
Major Responsibilities
- Analyze, review, and present financial reports reflecting actual
performance against budget/forecast on a monthly or as needed
basis.
- Prepare and review management reports and presentation materials
for Regional Headquarters CFO for various governance meetings.
- Play a key role in the establishment of annual business planning
and mid-/long-term plan, especially for factory profitability of
all vehicles.
- Support other business units (i.e., Pricing, Product Director
Office, etc.) on market-based pricing strategies and proposals,
while maximizing sales volume and profitability for Hyundai and
Genesis vehicles in North America region.
- Manage financial database for entities in HMNA and Americas
Strategic Region.
- Proactively seek and implement opportunities to streamline
planning and reporting processes, while increasing accuracy and
efficiency.
Major Responsibilities (continued)
- Develop and/or maintain financial models for a range of potential
strategic and operational cases for both internal and external
stakeholders.
- Responsible for coordinating factory production/shipment plans
and understanding of vehicle profit to meet North American Hyundai
entities sales and profit targets.
- Coordinate budget management with North American Hyundai
entities.
- Work closely with all North American Hyundai entities to obtain
and provide market and/or industry updates.
- Complete special projects on request from Regional Headquarters
CFO and Hyundai Motor Company.
- Frequent written and verbal communication with North American
Hyundai entities and Hyundai Motor Company.

Education
- Must be a high school graduate
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Master's degree a plus
Related Experience
- Six or more years of
experience of which at least three years of directly related
experience in Finance.
- Large, multinational organization experience preferred.
Skills/Knowledge
- Requires an understanding of accounting and financial analysis
principles and methods.
- Strong analytical skills required.
- Proven efficiency leveraging data from various systems for
analysis and reporting (including AS/400, ISeries, QMF, SAP,
MicroStrategy, Excel and SQL query tools).
- Understanding of dealer and consumer incentive programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Certification Required
-CPA, CMA or CFA desired.

$103,700.00 - $140,300.00 Annual
