Job Description:

The Accessory Project Management Senior Specialist is responsible for Monitoring, Reporting, and Managing Tier 1's Accessory Programs progress and key gates through the PMS platform. To promote, enforce, and pursue each program and the individual task's on-time accomplishment with accuracy and relevant deliverables per established PMS procedures and approval guidelines. To operate and modify PM System to suit Tier 1 and execute trainings for the departments for more efficiency. To report and communicate project status daily and to elevate urgent schedule delay matters to the project manager, respective parties, and the high-level executives for intervention. - - Key Accountabilities:

  • Keep all accessory projects on time thru timeline management on PMS. - -
  • Consistently organize and create reports of project status for high-level executives' direction. -
  • As a facilitator, stimulate and arrange inter-departmental tasks to accelerate project completion. -
  • Hold meetings with and trigger action plan from the head of departments for root cause analysis and preventative measures for any delays automatically reported through PMS to high executives in Tier 1 and MHQ. - -
  • Maintain project status and timelines for all accessory projects in the Master Tracker and PMS. -
  • Communicate with MHQ to keep all development projects on the plan, including product planning, purchasing, development, quality control, supply, and sales. -
  • Understand business customer objectives and align with the Account Manager in the effort to achieve the same goal. -
  • Lead and support to accelerate the inter-departmental tasks for on-time completion. -
  • Support to manage accessory operation projects from conception to completion to ensure business needs from internal/external organizations are met. -
  • Support to manage cross-functional resources & dependencies to proactively ensure the deliverables are met in a timely manner. -
  • Raise alerts to cross-functional teams and management when other initiatives or factors are likely to impact launch dates and or other defined goals. -
  • Track progress and impact through the PMS, trigger action plans and countermeasures from each department and communicate ongoing status to the project manager, all stakeholders, and high-level executives. - - Key Performance Indicators:
    • Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for this position are on-time delivery by all stakeholders per key gates and successful implementation of PM System. -
    • Monitoring, Reporting, and Pursuing the Tier 1 key gates to each task owner for on-time delivery through PMS platform.30% -
    • Lead and stimulate cross-functional teams and management to take the preventative measures for any potential delays to keep all accessory projects on time through key gate management in PMS. 25% -
    • Consistently organize and create report for all stakeholders and management and raise alerts when other factors are likely to affect the timeline. 20% -
    • Communicate with HQ to keep all development projects on plan, including product planning, development, purchasing, quality control and sales.15% - -

      • 8:00 am - 5:00 pm - -
      • Occasional overnight travel (up to 20%) by land and/or air. - - Major Challenges and Key Decisions:

        • Must be able to analyze, research and issues on a constant basis. - - Education Requirements:
          • Bachelor's Degree Required Experience Requirements:
            • 2-4 years of Experience -
            • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access -
            • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills required with attention to detail -
            • Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
            • Proficiency in Korean language required to communicate with HQ
            • Ability to make critical analytical decisions -
            • Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
            • Capable of handling multiple projects -
            • Automotive knowledge preferred -
            • Accessory experience preferred -
            • Experience in Project Management
            • Experience working in the automotive field
            • Experience working with multiple departments
            • Thorough computer application knowledge, including familiarity with database concepts and ad-hoc reporting tools. -
