Job Description Job Description Job Title: Lead Maintenance Mechanic Job Description Join our team as a Lead Mechanic, where you will play a crucial role in performing preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment. This position is set in a very industrial environment and involves working with manufacturing equipment, including wire manufacturing, using both mechanical and electrical components. Responsibilities Perform mechanical preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment. Work with manufacturing equipment in a very industrial setting. Utilize mechanical and electrical components in wire manufacturing. Handle hydraulics, valves, and pumps efficiently. Apply electrical knowledge, including working with 110-480 volt standard electrical power. Conduct some PLC troubleshooting tasks. Lead team of mechanics, answering questions and taking charge of maintenance projects. Essential Skills Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance technician roles. Strong mechanical skills, especially with pumps, hydraulics, valves, and pneumatics. Electrical skills including knowledge of 110-480 volt systems and PLCs. Experience in preventive maintenance in an industrial setting. Leadership experience is a big plus, but not required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with manufacturing equipment in a highly industrial environment. Experience in wire manufacturing using mechanical and electrical components. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Fe Springs, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.
