Description:As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible
for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes and
procedures to drive operational excellence. You will leverage your
expertise in materials, tooling, and process flow to define build
sequences and ensure product quality, efficiency, and
manufacturability. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and
refine manufacturing processes and build sequences based on a
strong understanding of materials and fabrication techniques.
Evaluate equipment and tool performance to verify efficiency,
reliability, and alignment with production requirements. Identify
and resolve issues related to tooling, process capability, and
production inefficiencies through root cause analysis and
corrective action implementation. Collaborate with design
engineering teams to provide feedback on design concepts and
specifications, ensuring manufacturability and optimal use of
available equipment and methods. Operate within a Model-Based
Engineering environment using platforms such as 3DX (3DEXPERIENCE)
and iBASEt Solumina to develop digital work instructions and manage
process documentation. Support cross-functional initiatives to
improve cycle time, cost, quality, and safety across manufacturing
operations. Provide periodic off-shift support as needed to sustain
production and ensure continuity of operations. Travel periodically
to other sites or vendors for technical support and integration
activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong technical
background and a high degree of confidence in addressing complex,
unfamiliar challenges, especially in hands-on hardware
environments. They will be a self-motivated problem-solver, capable
of working independently while also thriving in collaborative team
settings and supplier-facing situations. Key Attributes: Technical
Aptitude: Proven ability to rapidly understand new technologies,
systems, and integration challenges. Hands-On Expertise:
Comfortable with hardware evaluation, troubleshooting, and hardware
integration tasks. Initiative & Independence: Self-starter with the
ability to manage tasks without close supervision and drive
projects to completion. Strategic Thinking: Makes informed,
data-driven decisions with long-term project and program goals in
mind. Attention to Detail: Maintains precision in documentation,
process development, and execution. Collaboration: Works
effectively within cross-functional teams and with external
partners/suppliers. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with
sub-system assembly and integration into first article complete air
vehicles. Background in aerospace hardware development,
integration, and manufacturing environments. This position is in

Hands?on manufacturing experience • Hardware fabrication or
assembly or integration / installation • Reviewing engineering
technical drawings / definition • Secret clearance. Ability to
obtain special program access within 2 months of submission.
Desired Skills: • Authoring manufacturing assembly work
instructions and planning work • Aerospace, aircraft or
rocket?hardware • Aircraft fuel, hydraulic, propulsion, wire
harness, and related systems. • Development/ protype/ first article
program support • CNC machining working knowledge • 3DX / Catia V5,
Delmia software usage, PLM and ERP software proficiency • GPA of

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated
with this position will be performed onsite at a designated
Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per
week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in
California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major
metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits

and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented
full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid

time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up
to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for
holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated
based on start date during the calendar year. This position is
incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for
this position in most major metropolitan areas in California,
Massachusetts, and New York is $77,000 - $133,400. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary
