Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer in San Diego, CA. As a Manufacturing Engineer you will: Assist the shop floor in all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing. This is a full-time contingent opportunity. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering field. • Executing manufacturing tasks such as the review of welded assemblies for manufacturability. • Developing manufacturing plans that will produce a quality part from an engineering drawing. • Analyzing and dispositioning of non-conforming product. • Identifying issues related to manufacturing processes and implementing process improvements • Executing projects through structured approaches such as Lean and Six Sigma. • Support cross functional collaboration with internal customers within manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and design engineering to address component development quality, cost, and velocity.
