10544 - Client Device Engineer - SCCMJob Summary:The Client Device Engineer's role is to deliver enterprise-wide desktop engineering and design support by leveraging the design, engineering, configuration, administration, and maintenance of SCCM, GPM, AD, and Virtual Desktop consoles. The incumbent will handle multiple assignments concurrently, using technical experience, knowledge, and skill in dealing with complex assignments, and coordinating tasks with local and remote teams. The incumbent will create a wide variety of technical concepts, practices, and procedures by utilizing special applications and technology.The incumbent will actively engage with the desktop support vendor to streamline best practices and implement new technologies. We are looking for highly motivated, technically skilled, customer-focused individuals. Must be able to operate independently and as a team member to troubleshoot hardware/software equipment problems, and to set up, install, configure, maintain, relocate, and/or repair a variety of electronic computing, software, and/or peripherals. The incumbent may perform task guidance to less experienced staff as well as other duties as assigned. Job Responsibilities:Engineer

• SCCM OSD deployment process including the driver library.
• Group Policy
• Patch management via SCCM
• WIM image environment via SCCM
• WIM image via MDT\USMT
• USB\PXE booting environment for SCCM imaging
• Preboot WIM booting environment for SCCM imaging
• Create and administer advertisements, programs, collections, and custom reports in SCCM
• SCCM software delivery including various methods such as running advertised programs, machine targeted, user targeted and large scale deployments.
• Administer the SCCM tool set back end to keep the system running and healthy, including changes to the core components and setting, backups, restores, software delivery, client health, reporting, boundaries and bandwidth settings.
• Administer and support WSUS environment, including approving, testing, and deploying updates via WSUS in SCCM and troubleshooting failed updates; maintenance windows and staggered updates deployments
• Manage and administer SCCM desired state
• Perform general administration and troubleshooting
• Maintains work order documentation, technical schematics and diagramsCreate, Manage and administer VDI
  • Create VDIs within various app consoles
  • Personalize VDIs
  • Troubleshoot and administer various VDI sessions and apps
  • Maintains work order documentation, technical schematics and diagrams
  • Sets up, assign, install, configure, re-provision, modifies, moves and/or relocates VDI
  • Administer the VDI tool set back end to keep the system running and healthy, including changes to the core components and setting, backups, restores, software delivery, client health, reporting, boundaries and bandwidth settings.
  • Administer Storage, processor, and RAM to enhance user experience via VDI toolClient Desktop Support
    • Interact with clients and resolve service issues based on support tickets.
    • Validate completion of Network Support Requests (NSRs).
    • Manage and support system images utilizing current disk imaging technology.
    • Supervise and support all approved software applications.
    • Responsible for keeping HCA computer systems updated with latest operating system and application patches.
    • Assist with the coordination of adds/moves and changes.Vendor Management
      • Manage external vendors to achieve service levels according to negotiated contracts.
      • Validate vendor supplied reporting regarding monthly goal achievements.
      • Provide intermediary support between HCA customers and vendors for escalated requests.Asset Management
        • Create Executive Summaries for lease extensions, equipment quarterly leases as well as major lease refreshes.
        • Work closely with other HCA teams to efficiently complete equipment lease refreshes.Occasional travel to other sites for meetings or system outages. Required Skills, Attributes & Education:
          • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
          • 5-7 years of overall IT experience
          • Advanced skills in MS Windows OS, MS Exchange, MS SQL, Server class hardware, project management, networking, Active Directory, Citrix.
          • Specialized certifications or equivalent experience associated with assigned computer systems, such as MCTS SCCM 2012 R2 preferred. - provided by Dice
